What is BGE's Smart Energy Savers Program℠?

BGE's Smart Energy Savers Program℠ is a family of smart choices that will help you save energy, money and improve the environment.

By providing a variety of programs, services and incentives we are working to accomplish these goals together with you, our valued customers. Below, please find brief descriptions of some of the programs that are being offered.

PeakRewards℠
Save up to $100 per summer on your bill in the first year of participation by enrolling in PeakRewards℠! Through this program, participating customers get their choice of either a professionally installed Honeywell programmable thermostat or an outside switch installed on their heat pump or air conditioner that will help reduce energy consumption and costs.

Energy Efficiency
BGE provides incentives to purchase ENERGY STAR^® qualified appliances and compact fluorescent bulbs. In addition, more money and energy-saving programs will be available soon.
