Projects must:Reduce the lighting power density in watts per square foot from the baseline lighting design that complies with the Interior Power Lighting Allowance obtained from current Maryland code. Wattage reduction must be at least 10% more efficient than the code requirements to qualify for incentives.Provide maintained lighting levels in accordance with the recommendations of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America.Provide high-quality lighting achieving appropriate levels of glare control, color rendering, lighting uniformity and other lighting quality parameters deemed necessary by BGE.For questions about eligibility, contact us at 410.290.1202.Preapproval from BGE is required before design, purchase or installation of equipment.
