These devices are what receive the signal to start cycling your air conditioning on and off when energy demand has hit a peak. To ensure your PeakRewards programmable thermostat or outdoor switch is connected and you receive your summer bill credits, please make sure the serial number of your installed device matches BGE’s records. How to find your device’s serial number ecobee3 Lite ThermostatThe serial number will be a 12-digit number starting with 411. You can also access this information by following the same steps on the ecobee app.Tap the Menu iconScroll down and select “About”Select “Serial Number” Honeywell ThermostatTo find the serial number on your Honeywell device, check the barcode label on the bottom of the faceplate. The serial number will be nine digits long—most likely starting with 400, 410, 443, 510 or 520. If you can’t locate or read the printed serial number information, proceed to the steps below.Press the SYSTEM button on thermostat screenPress and hold the blank box next to the CANCEL box (far right corner of the thermostat screen) until the serial number appears on-screenHit DONE to exitNOTE: “Write Protected” may appear on screen briefly after Step 2. This has no impact on the thermostat’s function. Outdoor Air Conditioner SwitchThe switch serial number starts with 409 and is located on a sticker on the top of your device.
