If you are a retailer with a BGE account and have refrigerators that are 10 years old or older, BGE is here to help.

We'll recycle your store's old refrigerators.

• $50 Reward when you recycle an old, working refrigerator
• No Cost pick-up and disposal
• Environmentally friendly recycling through a partnership with ARCA Recycling

Requirements

• Retailers must be a BGE electric customer with a valid account number. Residential customers should visit this page.
• Refrigerators must be 10 to 30 cubic feet.
• Refrigerators must be in working condition (cooling).
• There must be a clear and safe passage for appliance removal.
• If the appliances are located outside for pickup, ensure that the refrigerator is closed securely and cannot be opened by children.
• If the appliances are inside for pickup, elevator access is required for any refrigerators located above the second floor.

Getting Your Reward
