Be sure to include all the required supporting information along with your application.Select your preferred Service Provider or engineering firm to assist in development of your energy model or energy-savings calculation. Notify BGE once a Service Provider is selected and before finalizing the design and project scope.Receive notice that your project has been preapproved.Sign and return your preapproval letter, final energy model and invoice once the design phase is completed. BGE will review the model’s compliance with energy code and the scope of work. You’ll be notified when your project has been approved for payment.Receive your incentive check within 6 to 8 weeks after the project’s completion and payment approval.
